Oliver Matley

I was first taught to drive by Patrick Garner, and I have held my full car driving licence since 1997. I qualified as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in 2004 with my training received once again from Patrick at the >> In~Control << Driving School. I felt the training I received was of a very high standard and I hope to pass on this knowledge to my future students. I am also Pass Plus registered. I gain much satisfaction from teaching and working with people, having also done voluntary work teaching children computing. I have also worked in the design of traffic lights and their control systems, giving me an understanding of how they are designed and operated. I aim to help my students feel at ease on the road, especially those who feel nervous about driving. I am currently graded 5 by the Driving Standards Agency which is the second highest grade available to Approved Driving Instructors. Lastly, I am fluent in French and give tuition in French when needed.
